Who's older, Archangels or Leviathans?

Who's the older creature, Archangels or Leviathans? Older than normal angels, sure, but it's just very difficult for me to believe that they could actually be older than the archangels, I mean, they're archangels for crying out loud, the strongest things, besides God and Death. In my opinion, an archangel could annihilate a Leviathan. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this. -- ImperiexSeed, 7:41 PM, September 24th 2011

We only have Death's quote to go on but it sounds like leviathans are older than everything else! --Missyjack 00:20, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

Unfortunately, you're probably right. It's just hard for me to fathom that anything could possibly be other than them, only to be excluded by God and Death, who are amortal, meaning they were never born to begin with. -- ImperiexSeed, 8:32 PM, September 24th 2011

Castiel, with all the souls from purgatory, had difficulty containing them and at that point was likely the strongest creature in creation. Once the souls were back in purgatory, Castiel was no match.--Frankrizzo51 07:25, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Thoughts on Solution

I'm sure one of the ways to either slow down an leviathan or kill one is to cut out their tongue. Almost every lore on the Leviathan I remember always talks about tying down their tongue and things about it.
