The following part of Ruby's description has no context. I am taking it out because it is unclear what this is referring to and if it is part of an episode summary it doesn't belong in the main description of Ruby anyway.

"As Sam is attacked, the mysterious woman who had followed him earlier appears, who we will later know as Ruby, and attacks the demons with a knife, which kills two of them, while Sam helps her kill the third. LITITH AND RUBY PROBABLY FIGURED THAT DEAN WOULD BREAK IN HELL THUS CAUSING THE SEALS TO BREAK SO RUBY ANS LILITH BOTH WANTED LUTHIFER TO RISE BUT LITITH DID'NT NEED SAM AND TRIED TO KILL SAM (EP SEASON 3 EP 16) WHICH FAILED RUBY PRETENDED TO HELP AND TRAIN SAM BUT IN REALITY ONLY WANTED FOR SAM TO MAKE LUTHIFER RISE SO IT WOULD MAKE HER LOOK GOOD FOR LUTHIFER AND THE DEMONS LILITH DID NOT WANT THIS ANS PRESUMELY DIDNT EVEN KNOW ABOUT RUBY'S PLAN UNTIL LATE SEASON 4 "PROOF IN MONSTER AT THE END OF THE BOOK LILITH MEETS SAM AND SAYS SHE WILL STOP THE END OF THE WORLD IF HE WILL KILL HIMSELF WHICH MEANS LILITH KNEW ABOUT RUBY'S PLAN AND WAS TRYING TO STOP IT SO.....WHAT DO YOU THINK ?
