Talk:Vessel
I think the Plan B vessel section needs to be edited as some of it is not canon. eg we don't know that a temporary vessel will die or spontaneously combust. --Missyjack 00:43, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
One could be led to believe that the thought of using a Plan B vessel as it applies for Sam & Lucifer; it too might apply for Michael and Dean, which is that no one can contain Michael's angelic energy except for Dean. It currently remains unclear if some one could contain Michael for a short period (a Plan B Vessel), like nick is doing with Lucifer. --Anderson Writer, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
since michael says that the ability to be a vessel runs in a bloodline, wouldnt that mean that sam could also be michaels vessel and dean lucifers?
Didn't Gabriel say that it was predetermined that Dean was to be Michael's vessel and Sam was to be Lucifer's? This particular scenario has been mentioned and illustrated many times throughout S5.
It could very well happen that Lucifer at some point might decide to target Dean instead of pursuing Sam into consenting; this would leave Sam open to consenting to Michael.
