The Bible

The Bible is a religious text. On many occasions there have been many biblical references on this show. The book of Revelations (the last book in the bible) has been read or referred to many times in Supernatural, sometimes helping explain the idea of the Apocalypse.

Some Biblical References

• 4.02 Are You There, God? It's Me, Dean Winchester - Bobby found out about The Rising of The Witnesses by browsing through a widely distributed version of the book of Revelations.
• 5.02 Good God Y'All - The book of Revelations foretold the arrival of Wormwood.
• 5.06 I Believe The Children Are Our Future - Castiel told the Winchesters' that the Bible is in fact wrong, on some level. Castiel said that the Anti-Christ isn't Lucifer's child, instead is a Demon Spawn. In truth, the Bible never says that the Anti-Christ is Lucifer's child, but it does state that the Anti-Christ is a servant of Lucifer.

Famine is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; he traditionally rides a black horse. Due to our technology, Famine drives a black Cadillac Escalade instead of riding an actual black horse.

War is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; he traditionally rides a red horse. Due to our technology, War drives a cherry red 1965 Mustang Fastback instead of riding an actual red horse. It has Colorado plates - 971-Q4S.

Pestilence (sometimes Conquest in the Bible) is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocolypse. Due to our technology, he drives a green '72 AMC Hornet wagon with a Nevada license plate SIKN TRD.

Death is one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; he traditionally rides a black horse. Due to our technology, Death drives a white 1959 Cadillac with California license plate BUH*BYE.

In 5.19 Hammer Of The Gods, Dean and Sam drive through a biblical storm. They decide to stop/take cover at The Elysian Fields Hotel.
