History

Tyrus was the leader of a large faction of angels, that Metatron was trying to get to join his side of the fight against Castiel's army.

Metatron and Gadreel approach Tyrus at a bowling alley about joining forces to fight Castiel. However Tyrus rejects Metatron's offer to join with him and reenter Heaven for a few reasons, he grew to love life on Earth and especially bowling, he preferred to be an independent operator, and thirdly hated Metatron. He does however agree to talk with Metatron, if he can out bowl him, which Metatron does not do. Upon leaving the bowling alley, an angel suicide bomber sacrifices himself in the name of Castiel, in an attempt to kill Metatron, killing Tyrus in the process. As a result, Tyrus's followers join Metatron. It was later revealed that Metatron brainwashed some of Gadreel's recruits to use themselves as suicide bombers to manipulate the angels, including Tyrus's followers.
