4.07 It's The Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester
Uriel appears with Castiel, and appears to be keen on obliterating the town in order to prevent Samhain from rising rather than let Sam and Dean prevent it -- an attitude later revealed to be against the angels' true orders which were to follow whatever course of action Dean decided. At the end of the episode, he castigates Sam for using his powers and makes it clear that he is dispensable.
