Commandant Wolfgang was one of the Thule High Command and one of the members of Adolf Hitler's inner circle.

Wolfgang, along with another Thule agent, went to the abandoned office building where Sam, Dean, and Ellie Grant were holding Christoph Nauhaus. They fought against the Winchesters, but Ellie managed to escape the building, diverting their attention to catching her and leaving the Winchesters disoriented.

Commandant Nauhaus managed to capture Ellie and met with Wolfgang, Hans, and Gottfried to begin resurrecting Hitler. Wolfgang began preparing the spell while Hans monitored the dialysis machine. Nauhaus has himself transfused with Ellie's blood while Gottfried places the pocket watch on his chest before it began digging into his chest and reviving Hitler in Nauhaus's body. Wolfgang salutes to him, but Hitler asks him about his wife only to awkwardly realize she's dead.

When the Winchesters infiltrate the airplane hangar, where Christoph led them when his father tried to have Fritz execute him, they were captured and disarmed by Hans and Wolfgang before being introduced to Hitler. While they talk, Ellie, despite the blood loss, managed to retrieve Sam's gun and shoot Hans, killing him. Dean retrieves his gun and shoots Wolfgang and Gottfried before disorienting and killing Hitler and Nauhaus, which excites him. Wolfgang's body was incinerated along with the rest of the Thule High Command, permanently killing them.
